About Me

I am an immigrant and adjunct educator with prior experience as a corporate executive, my work centers on resilience, transformation, and practical empowerment. My personal and professional journey has been shaped by navigating unfamiliar systems, rebuilding confidence after setbacks, and learning how to thrive in spaces that were not designed with people like me in mind.

As an immigrant, I understand the financial, cultural, and emotional complexities of starting over. In my lived experience I’ve navigated everyday life and spent two decades building a diverse corporate career across healthcare, real estate, home goods, and banking. After a layoff, I used the opportunity to earn teaching credentials, transitioned into academia, and applied my real-world expertise in a more purposeful way.

I have spent years in higher education as an adjunct, experiencing firsthand the realities of teaching while managing burnout, uncertainty, and invisible labor. Along the way, I’ve taught everything from high school English to freshman composition to advanced computer information systems courses, both online and in person. My commitment to students is grounded in my desire for their success and intertwined with empathy and realism, and is designed to help them navigate college not just academically, but emotionally and strategically—especially when things don’t go as planned. And for educators and lifelong learners, I desire to help them learn, grow, and thrive.

Through my YouTube channel, Repotted, Change For Better, I explore what it means to be “repotted”— and with God as my center learn to grow after disruption, to adapt without losing yourself, and to create positive change that is intentional and sustainable.

Across books, teaching, corporate leadership, and digital content, my work is unified by one belief: growth is possible at any stage, and practical knowledge—shared honestly—can change lives.

Books can influence human education, growth is possible at any stage, and practical knowledge, shared honestly, can change lives.

“Each of us has the right and the responsibility to assess the roads which lie ahead, and those over which we have traveled — and if the future road looms ominous or unpromising, and the roads back uninviting, then we need to gather our resolve and, carrying only the necessary baggage, step off that road into another direction. If the new choice is also unpalatable, without embarrassment, we must be ready to change that as well.”
